Output and limits and the request that starts a job

To get a TikTok transcript via API, POST a tiktok.com/@user/video/{id} link to https://api.transcriptdock.com/v1/jobs. TranscriptDock returns the creator's subtitle track with its original timing, per caption cue, ready to export as JSON, SRT, VTT or TXT.

What you get

  • Creator subtitle tracks, parsed with their original timing
  • AI transcription on paid plans, when subtitles are unavailable (not available yet)
  • Export as TXT, JSON, SRT, VTT

Limits

  • Standard video links (tiktok.com/@user/video/...)
  • Mobile share links (vm.tiktok.com/...)
  • Up to 250 MB and 2 hours per file
