Which browsers does it work in?
Chrome and Microsoft Edge on desktop, version 111 or later.
What does it cost?
The extension is free. Transcripts use your Transcript Dock credits: a caption transcript from YouTube or TikTok costs 1 credit, Instagram reels use AI transcription at 2 credits per started minute on paid plans, videos your workspace already has are free, and new accounts get 50 free caption credits every month.
Do I need an account?
Yes, because transcripts are saved to your workspace. Continue with Google, Apple or email from the extension, or paste an API key from the dashboard.
Do I need to be signed in to TikTok?
No. Profile insights work on public profiles whether you are signed in or not, and the extension never touches your YouTube, TikTok or Instagram account.
Can it download videos?
No. It reads captions and public counts only, never video, audio or cover images, so creators keep control of their media.
Which platforms does it support?
YouTube, TikTok and Instagram today, with more platforms coming soon. Uploads and other sources already work in the dashboard and through the API with the same account.
